01 問題 The problem

The talent exists. The visibility does not.

For the animator / アニメーター

You've spent months polishing your portfolio. But as a junior, you're invisible.

Malt isn't built for you. Fiverr is a race to the bottom. And working alone makes it hard to win a serious client.

And when you finally land a client, you get stuck. How do I invoice? What do I declare? What should I charge? Setting up auto-entrepreneur status takes 15 minutes. We walk you through it.

With a crew, you bring more skills, more credibility and a real professional presence, without waiting ten years.

For the studio / 企業

Finding qualified junior 2D animators takes time.

CVs arrive without context. Portfolios are scattered. Agencies are expensive for short projects.

With Celwork you discover organised crews, with a clear collective portfolio and direct contact. No middleman.

02 仕組み How it works

Simple for everyone.

Three steps for each side. No friction, no middleman. The crew at the centre, always.

Build your profile

Reel (Vimeo, Instagram, YouTube), specialities (douga, genga, layout, storyboard, compositing), target markets. No re-upload: you link to what already exists.

Invite your crew

Invite your teammates from the internal list (filterable by school, specialty, availability) or share a link with those not yet signed up. You can create as many crews as you want.

Studios reach you

The whole crew gets the message at the same time, from the Celwork catalogue or from your custom domain.

03 特色 What Celwork brings

Four things we do differently.

Each piece is designed so a junior can present their work like an established studio, no agency, no signing with an intermediary.

i.

Invite your teammates.

The list of animators on Celwork is filterable by school, specialty (genga, layout, comp, storyboard) and availability. You send an invitation to join your crew in one click. No need for all your future teammates to be in your class.

ii.

Your crew, your URLs.

Trilingual public page, custom domain (lapoele.studio) and presence in the Celwork catalogue. Three fronts to be found: by Google on your own domain, by Google on Celwork, and by studios already inside the platform.

iii.

Pick your French status without losing your mind.

MDA, auto-entrepreneur, EURL, SASU. We explain what fits your situation (student, first contract, formed crew). The platform generates compliant invoices and contracts, and reminds you when to file your social charges.

iv.

You see if it works.

Page views, requests received, response rate: the numbers that matter when you're hunting for a first client. Not decorative likes, just enough signal to know whether your portfolio talks to studios.

04 経路 Three ways

Three ways to be found.

We put your crew where studios actually look. You pick what you turn on.

01

Your domain.

lapoele.studio

Your site, your URL. A studio in Osaka types "French 2D animation" into Google. They land on you, not on us.

One page, three languages
02

The Celwork page.

celwork.co/crews/lapoele

Your page on our side, also in French, English and Japanese. You don't have to do a thing. We handle it.

Auto-translated
03

The internal catalogue.

For signed-in studios

Studios already on Celwork find you by searching. They filter by school, by specialty (genga, layout…), by availability. They write to you directly.

No algo. No feed.

You turn on what you want. You can switch a section off when you head to a festival.

06 学校 For schools

A bridge to the outside for your graduating classes.

Your students graduate with a portfolio but no network. Celwork helps them group into crews and become visible to studios, in France, but also in Tokyo or Los Angeles, through trilingual public pages.

We support your students on the platform. Free for them, free for you. What we can build with your school (graduation talks, class follow-up, dedicated page for your cohort) depends on your needs. We work case by case for now. Let's talk about what would actually work for your programme.

07 For studios

Looking for a crew?

The catalogue is public. To contact crews, filter, compare and manage your shortlists, you need a studio account.

01

Explore the catalogue.

All public crews are visible here. Read through them before signing in.

02

Filter and compare.

Once signed in: by school, specialty (genga, layout, comp), availability, target market. Add to your shortlists.

03

Contact directly.

One message to the whole crew in one click. No agency, no commission. You talk to the animators.

Structured RFPs (comparative quotes, shared briefs) are coming in a future version.

08 問答 Frequently asked

What we get asked most.

Anything else, write to hello@celwork.co. We answer the same day.

For animators: build your profile, your crew (solo or collective), your path and wire in your reel/portfolio. Everything is in place. You can invite your teammates via the internal list. The moment you flip the public switch, your page goes live on Celwork and on your custom domain if you have one. For studios: the catalogue is browsable freely. To contact a crew, filter the catalogue and manage shortlists, you need a studio account (free).

No. Your reels and pieces live where they already live: Vimeo, Instagram, YouTube, Behance, your own site. Your crew's Celwork page aggregates these links and presents them cleanly, with thumbnails and a single contact.

You pick your teammates freely. You can invite them from the internal list of animators on Celwork (filterable by school, specialty, availability) or share an invite link if they aren't signed up yet. You can create multiple crews, each with its own identity, portfolio and rates.

The crew runs itself. Celwork doesn't get involved in internal decisions. A crew can disband or reorganise at any time; the individual profiles remain.

The contract is between you (or your crew) and the studio. You invoice from your status: MDA, auto-entrepreneur, EURL, SASU. Celwork generates invoices and contracts compliant with the status you've chosen, and reminds you when to file your social charges. Picking the right status matters: we help you see which one fits your situation (student, first contract, formed crew).

Setting up your status (auto-entrepreneur most often) is free and takes 15 minutes on urssaf.fr. It's the simplest status to start with and is more than enough for your first contract. We walk you through it step by step: creating the status, invoice template, declaring revenue, applicable rate, setting your price.

Yes. We accept students from their third year onwards. We have partnerships with several schools to make the school → professional life transition smoother.

Three channels: your Celwork page is indexed in French, English and Japanese (Google finds it in all three); if you turn on a custom domain, that's also indexed in all three; and the internal catalogue is open to signed-in studios. We don't promise specific partnerships in Tokyo or LA. We build the infrastructure for you to be readable from there.

Malt targets seniors with 5+ years of experience and thinks in terms of individual freelancing. Behance is a portfolio, not a matchmaking platform. Celwork is built for juniors organising into crews: it's a different format.

Today, it's free. Our priority right now is that the first crews and the first studios meet. The rest will be figured out later, with the people actually using the platform.
